A character-led loft conversion and bathroom interior project in Maiden Newton, Dorset, designed around a warm palette of natural and reclaimed materials.

Pine floorboards were used throughout the converted loft, while reclaimed floorboards were repurposed as wall cladding to bring texture and continuity to the space. The bathroom was finished with a freestanding bath and traditional cast-iron radiator, creating a comfortable interior with a strong sense of craftsmanship and character.

The combination of reclaimed timber, simple detailing and traditional fittings helped the new loft space feel sympathetic to the existing property rather than overly new or polished.
