Wilson Timber & Build is led by Richard Wilson, a Dorset-based builder and carpenter specialising in timber-led construction, carpentry and bespoke building work. With over 38 years’ experience, Richard brings practical knowledge, careful craftsmanship and a calm, considered approach to every project — from full renovations and new builds to garden buildings, timber structures, extensions, cut roofs and cladding.

Known for his practical problem-solving and careful attention to detail, Richard works closely with clients, architects and trusted trades to deliver well-considered results that are structurally sound, beautifully finished and built to last.
