He has a real ‘can do’ attitude and travelled over two hours to help renovate our 1970s home in Appledore, Devon, giving it a more contemporary New England-style feel. Rich removed old plasterboard walls to create an open-plan kitchen and lounge, replaced flooring, remodelled a bathroom and bedroom to create a larger en-suite, strengthened squeaky stairs and clad walls with tongue and groove boarding. Whenever challenges arose, he found practical solutions and helped our plans evolve with creative ideas and clear illustrations.
