Wilson Timber & Build is led by Richard Wilson, a Dorset-based builder and carpenter originally from New Zealand. With over 38 years’ experience, Richard has spent a lifetime honing his craft across timber building, carpentry, joinery and bespoke construction.

His work is shaped by practical knowledge, careful problem-solving and a deep respect for materials. From oak framing, garden buildings and timber structures to extensions, cut roofs, cladding, doors and detailed carpentry, Richard brings a calm, capable approach to every project.
