A substantial three-bedroom contemporary new build in Burton Bradstock, positioned on an elevated site overlooking Chesil Beach.

The project began with the demolition of the existing dwelling before the site was extensively excavated, cutting approximately two metres into the hillside to allow the new two-storey house to sit comfortably within the required ridge heights.

The new home combines clean modern architecture with carefully considered natural materials. Cedar was used extensively across the soffits and sections of wall cladding, adding warmth and texture to the contemporary exterior, while rope-wrapped posts introduce a distinctive coastal detail.

The works included the complete construction of the new dwelling together with associated external works and landscaping, creating a modern coastal home designed to sit naturally within its setting.
